Are you really bloody motivated to achieve your degree, but not always so motivated by the actual studying part?

A degree is made up of tens of thousands of micro-decisions – to study, or not to study. To push on through stress/overwhelm/distractions/fear of failure...or take the evening off. To scroll on your phone a little bit longer and watch another episode of Netflix...or drag your butt off the sofa to study.

And a degree feels a million times longer when you don’t feel particularly in control of these decisions.

When you make study plans, but can’t stick to them. When you tell yourself that you WILL start your assignments early, but then the same cycle repeats itself – fall behind, fail to catch up, rush to write something in just a few days or hours, submit something that’s not your best work.

Every-damn-time you vow to change...but you can’t by yourself.

You try to give yourselves pep talks and keep yourself accountable, but it doesn’t seem to work. You pride yourself on being a supportive friend and love helping those you care about, but you struggle to encourage and build yourself up to overcome your studying stumbling blocks.

Now, let’s add into this that the world we’re living in right now is incredibly isolating.

Whether you’re a distance learner already, or have become one due to the pandemic – you have to spend hours each week studying by yourself, with little interaction with other students. And depending on the current rules where you are, you can’t even top up your happiness meter by spending time with friends and family.

This can make it even harder to motivate yourself to study. You wake up more often feeling lethargic than energised which is impacting your productivity and mindset.

Ultimately, your studying mindset is EVERYTHING.

If you’re feeling at all negative, whether that’s due to:
– disappointment over past grades;
– fear of failure;
– overwhelm at the amount of tasks you have to complete;
– or feeling stressed AF trying to fit studying in your crazy-busy life…

...then you’re going to find it difficult to feel motivated, start studying, be productive, stay focused, and get shit done.

And if you’re regularly unproductive and you struggle to make consistent progress, then you’ll have to spend more time studying than you need to, AND you’ll likely achieve lower grades than you’re capable of.

GAHHHH! It’s a vicious bloody cycle.

Yes, studying IS supposed to challenge you.

Your course is designed to introduce you to alien ideas and give you tasks that you’ve never done before...so that you can pop out the other end with new skills, new knowledge and a fancy schmancy degree certificate.

But while studying is meant to be challenging and tough at times, it’s also supposed to be manageable and enjoyable.

I don’t want your studies to be something you drag yourself through. That you accept the next few years are going to be stressful with a ton of sacrifices made to your social life, happiness and rest.

Because it IS possible to feel in control of your studying. To regain your momentum and fire up that studying motivation you started your course with. To be more organised and build up your confidence so you can tackle any challenge your studies throws at you.

The ability to further our education is a privilege.

It’s time to let me help you enjoy your studies again.

The Kickbutt Students Club

The Kickbutt Students Club is an online membership for students in higher education, either at university, college or studying for a professional qualification. This is the place to be for non-traditional students combining studying with a busy life. Whether you’re a mature student, distance learner or you're studying while working...you’ll be part of a supportive community of likeminded students who understand what you’re going through.

You’ll have access to accountability, encouragement, mindset coaching, study skills training and expert guidance to help you have an easier, more enjoyable studying life. You’ll get my expert guidance and support as you learn exactly how to boost your productivity, confidence and grades.

I'm gonna KICK YOUR BUTT when you need it so you can start to feel KICKBUTT in your studies.

Limited spots! Enrol now

When you join The Kickbutt Students Club you’ll get access to a private, members-only community, expert guidance and coaching, a schedule of virtual study sessions and coaching calls, and powerful study skills trainings and resources.

You’re free to pick and choose the elements of the membership you get involved in and you’ll be able to reap the benefits in as little as 20-30 minutes a week.

Enrol in The Kickbutt Students Club and you'll:

Save time, find studying easier AND achieve better results

Unless you’ve specifically been taught how to study, I can guarantee you’ll be wasting time each week using ineffective study techniques. And that’s not including time spent procrastinating, multitasking, feeling frozen in overwhelm, or getting distracted.

In the KSC, you’ll build new habits and routines to boost your productivity, motivation and confidence to help you save time each week and have an easier studying life.

Feel like you’re on your studying journey with students just like you

You’ll join a supportive, encouraging community of students in similar positions to you. I specialise in working with non-traditional students who are studying alongside a busy life with work and family. I was a mature student, distance learner and I worked full-time so I understand the stressors you face.

We’ll encourage you when you’re feeling down or unmotivated and and we’ll celebrate your studying wins to boost your confidence and motivation. You don’t have to feel so alone in your studying. If you’re having a bad day or week, if you’re struggling to make yourself study when your friends and family are having fun, you can post in the group and lean on the support of me and the other awesome students to put some pep back in your step.

Get your studying done when you say you will

You’ll learn my 3-step study Progress Method to help you create realistic study plans that bring you closer towards your study goals...and then actually achieve them. Each week, you’ll be prompted to check in with the group to keep you accountable. And if you’re feeling stuck or unmotivated, I’ll be on hand to help unstick you so you can make progress.

During the virtual study sessions, you'll study alongside me and other students, keeping you accountable. I’ll guide you in training your brain and increasing your attention span so that you can stay focused and productive for longer, and therefore complete your to-do list faster.

Get the support and tools you need to stay positive and overcome challenges

Your tutors or lecturers are there to help you if you’re struggling with a concept, or need some assessment guidance. But they likely take a few days (if not longer) to respond, their answers aren’t very detailed, and they’re not able to help you with wider problems such as issues with motivation, mindset, confidence or time management. The Kickbutt Students Club is designed to give you the support you need when you need it. I’ll be on hand Monday to Friday to troubleshoot issues with you and answer your studying questions.

Perhaps you have questions you feel embarrassed to ask your tutor or supervisor – bring them to me instead as no questions too big, small, sensible or silly.

And there will be opportunities for group coaching on Zoom where I’ll give you personalised guidance on the best study techniques for you and your situation. You’ll learn my core principles of successful studying so you can develop your own problem-solving muscles, become a more confident learner and actually start enjoying studying (madness!!)

Here’s what some of the KSC members are saying

Emma Kelleher

Criminology & Psychology student, UK

I am so glad that I decided to contact Chloe and enrol in her Kickbutt students club, my only regret is that I didn't find her sooner! My previous studying style was all over the place, my note taking method consisted of copying the text book word for word which proved very time consuming. I felt like all my free time was taken up sat at my desk with no clue on how to study effectively. I would regularly be studying late into the night and finding that I hadn't really made any progress which was having a massive impact on my motivation and mindset. I can genuinely say that without the guidance and support from Chloe, and the other students in the Kickbutt club, I would likely have deferred my current module due to the stress of studying during the pandemic.

The weekly accountability posts from Chloe prompts me to take stock of my workload for the week and prioritise what tasks need to be completed. I have seen a big increase in my overall productivity during the online study sessions and can happily say that my biggest struggle of note taking is now all in my own words (with no late nights feeling stuck at my desk). From tweaks like this, and help from Chloe on our monthly coaching call, I have been able to increase my latest assignment grade to 90% and can spend more time with my family at the weekends.

For anybody unsure if Chloe is the right fit for you, I ask you - what have you got to lose? Nothing changes if you don't make the change, and I am so glad to finally feel in control of my studies! It is just a shame it took me until level 3 of my degree to feel this way.

Helen Burke

English Literature student, UK

I felt like I was taking a bit of gamble to pay up front for a years membership but I am so glad I did. I have consistently felt quite isolated studying with The Open University for the past 6 years but already I feel so connected and part of a community.

I couldn't get my head around the virtual study sessions to start with but as soon as I attended one it was a light bulb moment and I totally got why you included it as part of the membership. Studying alongside others really helps me to get focussed and productive instead of staring into space for significant amounts of time.

As well as feeling connected I also seem to be finding it easier to get stuff done knowing that I have shared what my aims are each week with the group and will have to feed back on my progress. But I also know that if I have a crappy week and things don't go to plan I will find support within the group.

Science student, UK

Before Chloe, my studying was very hit and miss. I was the queen of procrastination and I would put off studying or doing assignments until the last minute, and then try and do it all in really long sessions a few days before the deadline - which would result in me being tired, tearful and really grumpy.

I decided to enrol, after doing Bootcamp (which I was told about by a wonderful friend), and it has been one of my best ever decisions! I am actually studying when I should be, actually taking in what I am reading and actually starting assignments with plenty of time, so that I can proof read and edit what I have before submitting them.

I would 1000% recommend Chloe to anyone that is studying and wants to do better.

Jane Mackay,

Business student, UK

I was starting the second year of my degree when I decided to enrol in Chloe’s membership. I was feeling overwhelmed by this next level of study and after following Chloe on Instagram for a while I knew she could help me. The Kickbutt Students Club is a lovely community and Chloe’s warmth and expertise really shine through. The support has been amazing with Chloe encouraging and motivating us all the way.

We have access to lots of resources and study materials as well as virtual study sessions and check-ins. I’m feeling much more organised and positive about my next assignment. If anyone is considering working with Chloe then I would say go for it!

Here's what's included in The Kickbutt Students Club

1

Private, members-only community

You’ll get access to a supportive, encouraging, private community using a free tool called Slack. No social media distractions, just an awesome place where you’ll be able to get to know and network with other awesome non-traditional students. Here’s where you can ask me any and all your studying questions and ask for recommendations or tips from the rest of the group.

If you’re feeling stressed or unmotivated, post in the community and you’ll get encouragement from the others and advice and a friendly kick up the butt from me to get you moving again. This is a safe space for you to share your struggles but also to share your wins with other students who get what you’re going through.

The community makes me feel all warm and fuzzy every day because the students are so bloody lovely!

2

Weekly accountability and motivation

I’ll post in the community three times each week prompting you to:
– create a study plan and share it with me for feedback
– check your progress and reach out if you’re feeling stuck, stressed or overwhelmed
– wrap up the week, celebrate your wins and reflect on small changes you could make for even more success.

Take a few minutes to respond, build those effective habits, and make awesome, consistent progress. If you’re stuck, simply tag me and I’ll come help.

3

Virtual study sessions

TWICE a week I run a two-hour virtual study session on Zoom where you can study alongside me and the rest of your kickbutt student pals. These coach-led sessions will boost your motivation and productivity and help you train your brain so you can reduce procrastination and stay focused for longer in all your study sessions.

During each session there will be time for questions, uninterrupted study intervals, and short breaks to keep you feeling fresh. You’ll be whizzing through your to-do list! The sessions will change time each week. I’ll even record them so you can use them during your solo study sessions to help you stay focused and on track.

Here's what a typical session looks like:

19:00 > welcome, catch up, and we'll share our study tasks for the session
19:10 > focused study session 1 (microphones muted, cameras left on so we feel like we're studying together)
19:35 > break (stretch, take a bathroom break, grab a snack)
19:40 > study session 2
20:05 > break
20:10 > study session 3

20:35 > break
20:40 > study session4
21:05 > wrap-up, share wins + additional time for any study questions.

4

Members-only 24/7 virtual study room

Outside of the sessions run by me, the group are able to organise their own co-studying sessions at any time. Simply post in Slack to see if others are around to keep you company as you study.

This may feel a bit scary at first but I promise you these are AMAZING. There are multiple student-led sessions happening every day to help the members feel less alone and get some serious shit done.

You can use this awesome membership element to keep procrastination at bay, maintain your motivation and focus throughout the week, and feel less alone as you study at home. If I’m around and available I will also try to arrange some additional ad-hoc study sessions.

5

Day-to-day support

You can ask questions in the group at any time and get my response within 24 hours Monday to Friday. You can ask questions kinda about anything study related. Upcoming essay questions, how to prioritise your to-do list, how to deal with overwhelm, how best to take notes, how to prep for an exam, how to deal with an issue with your tutor, how to bounce back after a low grade, how to learn from feedback...anything!

6

Monthly group 'hot seat' call

Everyone who attends live will get coaching from me. We can talk through a specific studying problem or just see what comes up.  For example, bring along an essay question for me to help you breakdown, bring along some essay feedback you want me to decipher, get my help in creating a note taking strategy or exam revision schedule – whatever you want. These calls are a great opportunity to learn from the group too and they’ll be recorded for those who can’t attend live.

7

Study skills mini-trainings and resources

When you enrol you’ll get a login to the Club Portal and immediate access to The Progress Method. During this 25-minute training, you'll learn my tried-and-tested techniques for the most FUNDAMENTAL part of studying – creating an effective studying plan that moves you closer towards your study goals...and that you can actually achieve. Implement The Progress Method and you'll seriously skyrocket your productivity and results.

You'll also get access to a growing bank of mini-trainings, resources, printables and worksheets designed to help you develop awesome studying habits and routines so you can achieve more in less time and with a lot less stress.

8

*BONUS* Physical welcome pack

Who doesn't love receiving goodies in the post?!

When you enrol, I'll be sending a package of fun stuff to your home, anywhere in the world. A little bonus extra to boost your motivation.

9

*BONUS (for this round only)* Study Schedule Strategy Session

If you enrol in this intake you’ll get a BONUS 30-minute, one-on-one call with me.

We'll meet on Zoom and deep dive into your study schedule. I'll ask you about your studying situation, your course requirements and your non-studying life and priorities.

Then, I’ll suggest simple tweaks you can make to your study habits and strategies to help you make more progress towards your study goals WITHOUT having to work harder.

You'll walk away feeling more motivated about your studying and with an action plan to tick off more study tasks in less time each week.

It’s time to study smarter not harder.

So why should you learn from me?

Hey, I’m Chloe.

I’m a study skills expert on a mission to teach university students how to study effectively.

I’m no Hermione Granger, or Rory Gilmore. I don’t have a perfect academic record and I failed a crap-ton of exams at school. I even left school at 18 with low grades, zero desire to go to university...so I ran away to live in Barbados for a few years instead.

I returned to study in my 20s and completed a Business degree while working full-time (and trying to have a social life). This was a big investment and time and money for me so I was determined to achieve a First.

To achieve this I knew I had to ditch my old study habits and learn how to study effectively...FAST!

After cursing my schooling for not teaching me this stuff, I put on my big girl pants and started teaching myself how to study. I spent time researching HOW to learn effectively. I tested and tweaked heaps of strategies and created my own until I discovered what worked.

My stress dropped, my confidence grew, AND my grades started to climb until I was achieving distinctions in every module. And after four years I graduated with a First-Class degree, despite working full-time and being an academic failure at school.

Since then I’ve set up my own business and have worked with thousands of students from all over the world studying a bazillion different subjects. I’ve become an Ambassador for The Open University and delivered study skills workshops for them and other universities.

I’ve become certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a powerful mindset approach I use to help my clients develop strong, confident growth mindsets. I’ve published The Return to Study Handbook, specifically for non-traditional learners, and I’m the host of the 5-star rated Chloe Made Me Study podcast.

My mission is to support any student who’s brave enough to return to study to get the grades they need for the career and life they want.

I don’t want you to struggle like I did. Studying is challenging, but I can help make your journey a lot easier, and dare I say it...even enjoyable!

Here’s more reviews of The KSC

Sarah Johnson

Occupational Therapy student, UK

When I started studying as a mature student at 29 I somehow believed that I would be able to get decent grades without putting in masses of effort or being particularly organised. An exam failure in my first year and some disappointing grades proved I was wrong very wrong. I found Chloe through her book and wanted to work with her as I found her relatable, some of the issues I had she had experienced on her own journey and she understood how difficult being a student can be.

Since working with Chloe I’ve been able to improve my organisational skills and learned how to deal with the dreaded procrastination which has affected my grades in the past. I’ve always found the courses well run and organised and they are really engaging and great fun. My grades have improved since working with Chloe and I am so pleased! I’m more organised and feel more equipped to deal with problems I may come across whilst studying instead of feeling overwhelmed and choosing to ignore them!

I would absolutely recommend working with Chloe, she is understanding and really puts in the effort with the courses and materials she provides and also provides excellent support!

Christina Dömer

Economics student, Germany

After the decision to start studying part time and with distance learning I quickly realised that it needs far more organisation and self-discipline than I thought. The biggest shock was the huge amount of material, and finding out how to tackle it, what's important and how should I remember everything for my exams?? So, the big internet search started and after reading a huge amount of study tips (hello Pinterest) I realised they have one thing in common: full-time students.

I’m not a full-time student and I don’t have any lectures where I can take notes or ask questions. I need to get through my material alone! But there was a light at the end of tunnel when I stumbled across a Pinterest post by Chloe. And for the first time I felt understood and got tips for my unique study situation from someone who was in the same situation as me.

I knew a routine was important to get studying done but I didn’t realise how important it was before joining The Kickbutt Students Club. Chloe's built a program where you can create a routine of studying that works for you. The routines I created felt so natural for me after a few weeks that I kept them going during the summer break. Chloe is always there in the group and if you need help with whatever you can ask her or the other members of the Club. Chloe's printables are always on my desk as I use them for work as well. You’ll learn for life and not just for your studying. The most important thing I've learned working with Chloe: studying does not have to be unpleasant but can actually be fun!

Juliette Dupuy

Psychology Student, Ireland

Before I joined The Kickbutt Students Club, I was really struggling with discipline – really just showing up and studying. And my grades were just above average. What attracted me to working with Chloe was that she just seemed to get where I was at! There was no judgment or shame, she just seemed to really want to help, and was actually great at it! I learned lots of useful tips and methods and I gained an understanding of why routines are important. The Pomodoro method was also a huge takeaway for me.

It was great to have a study support group while things were all very chaotic during lockdown! It was very relaxed yet also very focused. Judgment free and lots of encouragement and support which was very appreciated! My study skills and mindset have definitely improved. I feel more confident and also just more relaxed about studying and not so focused on results/grades but more on what I’m gaining while studying such as skills and mindset – which actually makes better grades more attainable!

The Kickbutt Students Club is definitely worth the investment to work with Chloe. It makes studying more enjoyable and achievable!

Caron Small

TEFL student, UK

My studying before I joined the KSC was inconsistent and erratic. One week I would get lots done, and then the next I would hardly do anything, which meant that it took me ages to complete courses! Although I did an undergraduate degree at university, and have done various courses since I always felt I was disorganised with my studying and had periods where I thought 'I can't do this' or 'What's the point in finishing this course?' I also realised looking at Chloe's website and working with her that I've never developed some of the basic study skills like note taking, organisation and time management that are needed to be the best student I can possibly be.

I really enjoy the virtual study sessions over Zoom - there's something about seeing other people with their heads down working away that keeps me going when I want to stop!! And I am actually responding to the weekly check-ins that Chloe posts on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays because I see others replying too and I am motivated to chip in as well!!

I love how we're all cheering each other on in the group too and if someone says 'I need help with this' or 'Has anyone else done this type of thing before?', there's usually someone who can help. Plus we're all benefitting from Chloe's words of wisdom which is great! And if anyone is having a bad week or something has gone pear shaped (cos studying is never straightforward!) then other people offer support or useful suggestions or even just say 'You can do this'!

Even I can recognise, Chloe, that I am slowly learning to shift my mindset so thank you to you and everyone in the group'! If someone asked if I would recommend working with Chloe I would say, 'You would be daft not to! Being an online student or doing a course through distance learning can be a lonely experience, but one of the huge joys of the KSC for me is that I am part of a bunch of lovely people from around the world who are in the same position as me and you know they're cheering you on.

Laura-Jane

Literature student, UK

My studying was awful before! It was basically pick up a book the week my assignment was due in, scribble a couple of quotes I wanted to use, highlight a couple of pages to reference, then type a first draft the night before and hand it in! I couldn't organise my time properly, was too focused on extensive organisation rather than doing the work, and had no idea how to take notes...

I decided to enrol after attending Chloe's Get the Grades bootcamp. I learnt so much from it, but I really valued the 4 weeks of support afterwards and wanted that to continue.

The group has been amazing! I feel like a different person:

- I started studying the day my course opened

- I'm taking proper notes, so I'm prepared at assignment time

- I handed in my 1st assignment of the year half an hour early (never happened before! It was always 2 minutes before the end of the grace period before...)

- I am making friends! Everyone has been friendly and welcoming and there's always someone around to study with or reply to questions or just give some moral support if you're having a bad day/week

- I'm studying in small chunks each week, celebrating my progress and giving myself well-deserved time off after each section.

I would 100% recommend Chloe's support to my friends (I already have to quite a few!), as she really gets to know you and tailors her advice to your current situation/circumstances. I owe my first results of this year to her (as long as they're good!)…

Erika Wiggs

Engineering Student, USA

Chloe has helped me completely change the way I study and learn. I used to get stressed, lost, and frustrated. Now I enjoy studying and am more productive and focused than ever. I like to think that she provides “study therapy” in a sense that she teaches techniques and provides the moral support to help get through the challenges of studying from home.

The private group has truly provided a safe space and accountability for me and my studies. It’s a community of like-minded students who want to do better for themselves. We share our wins & losses and keep each other on track. It’s also fun! Chloe is a gif queen!!! She picks the best little motivational or funny pick-me-ups that are always much appreciated.

I would recommend KBSC and any of Chloe’s study skills courses. It will give you that fresh new perspective you’ve been needing to help you achieve your educational goals.

Here's why you need to join today

How much time are you wasting faffing about, getting distracted, feeling frozen in overwhelm or putting off starting essays or revision for fear of failure? How much time are you wasting creating study plans and to-do lists you can’t stick to?

I know you’re a busy student and struggle to find time to study. So I want you to make the most out of the time you DO have, and squeeze every last drop of grade-boosting value out of your study time.

And how much energy are you using up stressing about your studies? Doubting yourself and your abilities? Beating yourself up for not studying when you said you would...again?

When you get home from work or when you’ve finally put the kids to bed and it’s time to study...it’s hard to find the energy to hit the books. Well imagine how much easier it would be and how much more motivated you’d feel if you...wait for it...started enjoying your studies more? If you gained your confidence back and felt empowered to tackle any challenges your education throws at you?

Imagine how much easier your whole darn life would be if we took care of the studying part – made it smoother, less of a struggle, a lot more fun.

Now, working with me one-on-one for any length of time costs £100s.

But I’m not asking you to invest that much for The Kickbutt Students Club.

For the price of a takeaway for two, you can get my expert guidance and encouraging support on your studying journey.

But you’ve gotta be quick.

There are just 20 places available for this intake. Once these are taken, or by midnight on Friday 2nd December, the doors will close until 2023.

Is there much point in joining before Christmas?
Should you just wait until 2023?

This time of year tends to provoke two common reactions. Either you feel completely stressed and overwhelmed trying to get tons of studying done on top of a busy time at work and lots of festive family and social stuff...

...or you feel worn out and completely ready for 2022 to be over. Screw the goals and habits, let's just rest now and try again in 2023.

You could join us next year – new year, new you and all that. But all those big deadlines suddenly feel A LOT closer come January 1st (and I'm likely not opening up enrolment until late Jan/early Feb).

Or you could take action now and join the KSC with this intake. Not only will you get immediate support, guidance and accountability to clear through that overwhelm and tick lots off your to-do list with more ease (and LESS hours chained to your desk)...

...you will ALSO start building those awesome study habits that are going to allow you to RELAX over the holidays, without feeling wracked with guilt, AND set you up to stroll into 2023 feeling motivated and confident in your learning.

I’m here to help. I know you can become a more successful student and actually enjoy the process. I’ve already helped 1000s do it. Now I want to help you too.

One month from now, you’re going to be a month closer to your graduation. You could also be kicking back with a tasty drink, ready to watch a festive movie because you’ve finished all your study tasks and the only thing left on your to-do list is to relaxxxxxxx.

All you’ve gotta do is say yes.

More happy Kickbutt Students

Madalynn Doherty

Accounting student, Australia

The KSC has given me a community, accountability, and support from people going through similar situations. And my fave part is that it's also taken the pressure off of me. I’m less hard on myself because of this community.

Shawnette Smith

Mature student, The Bahamas

Before joining Chloe's study group I was a very bad procrastinator with no study effort or mindset to. With Chloe's help and the group I have found ways to organize my study habits and get things done in a timely matter. But you have to put the time and effort in for it to work. So glad I joined when I did. Also love all the support that you get by joining the facebook group.

Bianca-Jade

Primary education student, UK

The club has been amazing. It has changed my mindset on studying and helped with my procrastination. The study sessions are so helpful to the point where for the first time in 3 years, I haven’t been rushing around to complete an assignment on deadline day!

Do I need to join the private Slack community?

We started off the membership with a Facebook group which worked really well but it was also a bit distracting for students and it was difficult to find posts sometimes.

So in January we moved over to Slack and it's a million times better. You can access this for free from your mobile or laptop and you can more easily ask me questions and engage with the group.

The Slack community is where a lot will be happening: the accountability posts; the opportunity to ask me questions; the support from the community. And it will be where you can post to see if anyone's around to study with you in the Zoom room.

I would definitely recommend joining Slack to get the most out of the awesome community experience and because the membership does NOT come with email support from me.

Is there a minimum term that I need to sign up for?

If you enrol on the monthly subscription then you will be signing up to a rolling monthly membership. If at any point after the first month you decide you don't want to continue, simply email me before your next billing date and I'll cancel your subscription.

If you enrol on the 7-month plan then your membership will last until the end of June 2022. No refunds are granted if you decide to stop utilising the membership before then.

How much is the membership?

The cost of the membership is £35 per month. There is also the option to enrol for 7 months, taking you to 30th June 2023 (saving you £35).

Once enrolled your membership cost will remain the same, no matter how much the public price increased. However, if you leave the Club and re-enrol at a later date, you will have to join at the new rate.

There's also a second level to the membership – PLUS. This level is exactly the same apart from one additional element. A 30-minute one-on-one call each month for more personalised, dedicated advice, guidance and support. This level costs £60 per month or you can enrol for the full 7 months (saving £35).

How long does it take to see results?

If you follow my advice, you'll notice an improvement to your productivity and focus the very next study session. The membership is designed to help you turn these positive results into sustainable habits and routines so you can then reap the benefits of completing your to-do list faster, feeling calmer, enjoying your studies more AND achieving better grades.

What support do I get from you?

I will be available to answer questions in the private Slack community and will respond to posts/comments within 24 hours Monday-Friday. If you participate in the weekly accountability posts you will also get my feedback on your study plans, my expert study advice and mindset coaching to help you progress. Support also includes the weekly virtual study session and the monthly group coaching calls.

Please note that the membership does NOT include one-on-one calls or email support. If you want additional private coaching from me this can be arranged for an additional fee.

How much time will the membership take up?

My aim is NOT to give you a million videos to watch or posts to read – you’ve got enough of that in your studies, right? Instead, I’ve designed the Club to offer various elements of support, coaching and training and you’re free to pick and choose which parts you get involved in. You’ll be able to reap the benefits of the accountability and motivation aspects in as little as 20-30 minutes a week – time you will get back 10X over in productivity and progress.

Then there’s the weekly virtual study session of 1.5-2 hours where you’ll get a shiz load of studying done in a focused environment. Then you have the option to join the weekly Office Hours or monthly coaching call to get my expert eyes on your studying problems.

Will it be a good fit for me? Who is the membership for?

The KSC is for adult learners aged 18 or over studying in higher education – either at university, college or for a professional qualification. I specialise in working with non-traditional learners, those who’ve returned to study after a break, who study online/at a distance, or who are studying while working and/or raising a family.

While traditional adult learners are welcome in the Club too, I’ve designed the membership specifically to support non-traditional students on their often-chaotic studying journey as I understand their unique challenges.

It will be a good fit for you if you meet the criteria above, but also if you're coachable. That means you need to welcome suggestions on how to do something better, and you need to reach out when you're struggling. I will be tagging people in the group as a reminder but it's on you to speak up if you're struggling.

Does it matter what subject I'm studying?

Nope. I don't need to be an expert in your subject-matter because I'm an expert in study skills. I'll teach you smart study strategies that work and then help you tailor them to your studying – whatever the subject. I've worked with people studying: psychology, law, nursing, education, accounting, business, biology, economics, sociology, veterinary medicine, criminology, dentistry, civil engineering, humanities, biostatistics...and more!

There is a massive range of students studying all different subjects in the KSC and that's why I love it. No misinformation or competition from students studying your exact module.

Do you offer refunds?

I do not offer refunds so please read the membership description carefully and email me at chloe@chloeburroughs.com with any questions you have before enrolling so you can ensure you’re making the right decision.

If you sign up for the monthly membership your subscription will roll over monthly. If you do decide to leave the Club simply email me 48 hours before your renewal date and I’ll cancel your membership.

If you sign up for a longer-term membership, again simply email me 48 hours before your renewal date and I’ll cancel your membership.

How long will I have access to the membership?

You will have access to the full experience – members-only group, weekly and monthly sessions, Club portal of trainings and resources – for the period of your membership.

I am SO excited to open up more spaces in the KSC.

Hands down the BEST part of my job is watching students transform in front of my eyes (or on a Zoom call!) When I first start working with a student, I can see and hear their tension, doubts and overwhelm.

But with my support, coaching and guidance they become completely different students. They gain so much confidence, they start to enjoy hitting the books, and studying suddenly feels easy for the first time ever.

The members' results are WILD. Seemingly insurmountable challenges overcome, grades increased, weekends taken off, motivation and inspiration shared, problems listened to, tips and advice pooled...it's pretty incredible.

I hope you join us in The Kickbutt Students Club so you can experience this reality and I can support you on your studying journey too.

I know you are so much more capable than you think. But you don’t need to be confident in yourself before joining the Club. Let me believe in you and support you first and it will soon come.
